The Lakes are private and prestigious, full of country homes. There is much to do outdoors, and residents gather on the water or at one of the yacht clubs or country clubs in the vicinity. THINGS TO DO
One of the biggest draws for those who desire to live in the area is the quick and consistent access to the water. During the summer, residents can be found on the lake most days with boats, kayaks, or paddleboards. Pulling inner tubes or water skis behind them, boats cruise across the beautiful water. On the shores of Cass Lake, the
Pontiac Yacht Club offers sailing lessons for all ages as well as exciting racing events.
Keeping to dry land, The Lakes have a number of country clubs to choose from.
Pine Lake Country Club has an 18-hole championship course along the waterfront as well as a boat dock, multiple dining options, and an Olympic size pool overlooking Pine Lake. Both the signature golf course and the Olympic size pool of
Forest Lake Country Club feature sweeping, gorgeous views of Forest Lake. The club also has tennis courts and a year-round fitness facility.
